China's textile industry has a complete textile manufacturing industry system, and the production and trade scale of the whole industrial chain of large categories of products rank first in the world. It is an integral part of the international textile supply chain and a key link to ensure the efficient and stable operation of the international textile supply chain.
China's textile industry has always taken independent innovation as the core driving force for development, and has continuously promoted the optimization, transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure, which has achieved positive results. First, innovation leads to high-end and intelligent features. Second, cultural empowerment and fashion leadership were strengthened. Third, low-carbon transformation and more concrete industrial responsibilities. Fourth, open development and build an international supply chain system.
At the same time, the expansion of total domestic consumption and structural upgrading have become an important trend. China's annual fiber consumption reached about 38 million tons, accounting for about one third of the world's total; Per capita fiber consumption exceeded 26 kg, close to the level of moderately developed countries.
