　　 The world has developed more than 27000 kinds of products using hemp (industrial hemp) as raw material, with annual sales of more than 10 billion dollars. It is estimated that it will reach more than 100 billion dollars in the next five years, with the potential to develop into a trillion industry. As the largest hemp growing country in the world, China's planting area accounts for about 50% of the world's total. Heilongjiang Province and Yunnan Province are the two provinces legally planting hemp in China. Heilongjiang Province ranks first in the country in terms of identification of hemp varieties, planting area, fiber output and export volume.

　　 Sun Xiaomei pointed out that the development of hemp industry can drive the development of related industries, create employment opportunities and promote local economic growth. Hanma is widely used in medical treatment, food, building materials, textiles and other fields. In addition, as a sustainable renewable biological resource, hemp is the best alternative to cotton, which is of great significance in reducing dependence on traditional resources and reducing environmental pressure.

Sun Xiaomei suggested that the "First Chinese hemp culture and fashion festival" should be held in Harbin or Heihe City to create the city image of the city of hemp culture and fashion, and promote it through various media.
