Zhijiang Builds Export Base For Medical Textile Industry

In March 20th, a major project in Yichang was held in Zhijiang in March. The 9 items of high-end medical supplies such as Yichang high tech medical supplies Co., Ltd. were started on site, with a total investment of 5 billion 140 million yuan.

The high tech medical products project of Hester is invested by 1 billion 200 million yuan from Wuhan Xin Bang Da medical group, covering an area of 93 mu. It will mainly produce medical protective products such as medical dressings, gauze and medical non-woven fabrics. The products will be exported to Japan and other countries.

Recently, Ogilvy medical company invested 500 million yuan to build a medical dressing automatic production line project, also started in Zhijiang.

The project will use 70 mu of land and build 20 thousand square meters workshop. After completion, it will complete the automatic production packaging of gauze, medical non-woven fabric, surgical towel and wound paste.

Zhijiang based listed company, Ogilvy & Mather medical company, ranks first in China's medical dressing industry for 9 consecutive years, and its products sell well in Europe and America.

Zhang Xuefeng, deputy director of the Zhijiang Municipal Bureau of letters, said that the city is taking the lead in the medical treatment of Ogilvy and mak, and is building an export base for the medical textile industry. It mainly develops and produces medical dressings and civilian health care products represented by diapers and face towels.

The city has 26 medical textile enterprises, of which more than 10 are export enterprises.

These enterprises achieved total output value of 6 billion 800 million yuan in 2018 and annual export volume of US $152 million.
