The Dongfang International Textile City in Wuxi, Jiangsu, has set up a special area for foreign trade and import and export.

According to the introduction, the area is 80 thousand square meters, which will provide one-stop service for customs import and export enterprises, and publish the latest industry information and trends at home and abroad.

Wuxi Dongfang International Textile City has established a full range of service facilities with business, taxation, public security, customs, health, technical supervision, finance, communications and supporting logistics, and plans to accommodate more than 5000 households with a total investment of 2 billion 500 million yuan.

It will be built as a professional textile and clothing trade city, science and Technology City, information city and cultural city in East China and even across the country.

The establishment of foreign trade zone will enable textile and garment import and export enterprises and foreign trade companies to directly trade with foreign buyers or finished manufacturers in the special area, thereby speeding up the circulation and turnover links, reducing procurement costs and improving procurement efficiency.

At present, Wuxi textile and foreign trade enterprises such as China Trade and export import and export company have indicated that they will be stationed in the foreign trade import and export special zone.
