Three industries with strong competitiveness and difficult development during the "12th Five-Year" period

China's leather industry covers the main industries such as leather making, shoemaking, leather clothing, leather products, fur and its products, as well as supporting industries such as leather chemicals, leather hardware, leather machinery, accessories and so on.

During the "12th Five-Year" period, the three industries of tanning, shoemaking and fur were the most competitive and the most difficult to develop, which is also the direction and emphasis of all levels of trade associations.

Leather making: the requirement of national environmental protection policy is getting higher and higher. The binding index will start to play a guiding role. In May, the first batch of environmental protection verification enterprises will be released. We should do a good job of publicity and promotion. We should continue to do a good job in the environmental self-discipline action group of leather making industry, collect and comb advanced technology of sewage treatment, promote the implementation of relevant national policies and sewage treatment technologies; the enterprises in leather making industry have strong cohesive force, and we should further expand the right to speak at home and abroad.

Shoemaking: the industry is growing fast, and the scale of the enterprises is relatively large. It puts forward new and higher requirements for the forward-looking guidance of the trade associations.

The emphasis is on information in the international market and standards, providing platform and services for enterprises to "go out".

At the same time with the international cooperation group, the footwear industry as a pilot, to create new areas and forms of service for industry enterprises.

Fur: the industry development is relatively backward, the industrial chain is incomplete, the impact of animal protection organizations, and so on, the fur industry will achieve new development and integration during the "12th Five-Year" period.

The Joint Conference on fur industry held at the end of February is just the beginning. We need to do a lot of in-depth and meticulous work before we can make a difference in the development of fur industry.
